Network Occupational Health is compliant with the statutory Health Screening requirements as laid determined by the HSE and the Noise at Work Regulations (2005).
The objective of the Noise Regulations is to ensure that employee’s hearing is protected from excessive noise within their workplace. In order to prevent hearing loss or tinnitus
A hearing test evaluates the sensitivity of a person's hearing. Network Occupational Health can provide audiometry tests in a controlled environment such as of our audiometric booths, to accurately test a patient's hearing. An Audiometric booth is the most accurate way of testing a person’s hearing as its sound proof qualities eliminates any background noise.
A typical Audiometry test takes takes 30 minutes per person and usually includes an examination of the ear, an audiometric questionnaire, and a hearing test.
We are able to provide on-site audiometry testing on request, however testing needs to be conducted in a quiet environment.
